Marc Brickman Cory Arcangel Inspired Super Mario Clouds Canvas Art Print – Contemporary Digital Art Wall Decor
Pixel Dreams Meet Manhattan Skyline
What happens when the nostalgia of 8-bit gaming collides with the grandeur of New York City's most iconic skyscraper? You get Marc Brickman's Super Mario Clouds — a canvas art print that bridges pop culture, digital art history, and the magic of light in one unforgettable image.
Inspired by Cory Arcangel's legendary 2002 artwork Super Mario Clouds — in which the artist hacked a Super Mario Bros. cartridge to display only the game's drifting clouds against a blue sky — this print reimagines that minimalist digital gesture on the grandest of stages. On May 1, 2015, Marc Brickman illuminated the Empire State Building in a breathtaking light show to mark the opening of the Whitney Museum of American Art, and this print captures that electric evening in all its pixelated, dreamlike glory.

Why This Piece Matters
Arcangel's original work asked a deceptively simple question: what remains when you strip everything away? Brickman's light-painted ESB answers with its own quiet power — a tower of steel and glass transformed into something soft, playful, and deeply human. Together, they create a dialogue between the analog and the digital, the monumental and the intimate.
Whether you're a gamer, a contemporary art lover, or simply someone who appreciates the unexpected beauty of two worlds colliding, this print will bring a smile to your face and a spark to your walls every single day.

There's a playfulness to the lighting on the building that I find really charming. A genuinely fun piece of art.
Colors are accurate, paper feels premium, no issues with packaging at all. Arrived in perfect condition. Very satisfied.
The colors are so vivid and the print quality is outstanding. It's been on my wall for a few weeks now and it still stops me every time I walk past it.
Took about two weeks which was expected. Packed securely, no damage. The print itself is crisp and the colors pop. Really happy with it.
No surprises — exactly as described. The matte finish is perfect, not too flat, not too shiny. Very clean look.
For a digital print the quality is really impressive. The color depth is rich and the paper weight feels solid.
I have a lot of art in my home and this one gets the most attention. The lighting effect on the building is mesmerizing.
Bought this for a friend who loves contemporary art and she was absolutely thrilled. Presentation and quality were both excellent.
The size is generous and the print is gorgeous. One of those pieces that looks expensive without being pretentious about it.
Honestly the product photos don't do it justice. In person the colors are even more striking. Highly recommend.
Print is beautiful and the colors are great. Docking one star because at this size I expected a tiny bit more sharpness on the building details. Still looks fantastic on the wall.
Every single person who comes to my apartment asks about this. The concept behind it is fascinating and the execution is flawless.
The lighting in this image is incredible. Really captures something that feels both modern and timeless at the same time.
Not something you see every day. The ESB lit up like this is stunning — it has a digital, almost dreamlike quality that works perfectly as wall art.
